SummaryThis position monitors and performs all raw product inspection for the front of the line to include all marination activities associated with the processing of product to assure acceptability, regulatory and customer compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for assuring daily quality activities and required tasks are performed in their area.

Records all applicable information as directed.

Responsible for assuring equipment used is calibrated and functioning properly.

Assures products meet requirements and specifications through proper testing and inspections.

Responsible for monitoring and documenting HACCP, GMP and SSOP regulations.

Responsible for identifying and isolating questionable product.

Responsible for obtaining finished product samples for the laboratory.

Responsible for assuring products processed meet all in-plant food safety requirements.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
