Data Entry Clerk

OK Foods, Inc. is looking for a Data Entry Clerk for our Muldrow operations. This is a 1st Shift position reporting to the Distribution Supervisor.

Summary Maintains updated information in regarding to inventory by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Updates receivers, shippers, transfers and physical inventories.

  • Each has unique responsibilities such as preparing exports documents, weekly closes, damage rework, and adjustment verification.

  • Performs research and problem solving of issues reported in regards to inventory and system operations.

  • Proofreads and prepares information in regards to activities at Distribution.

  • Cross-trained to fill in for load coordinator on short-term basis.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of E-mail software and Spreadsheet software.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
